BRUCE BURNS, PRESIDENT

Prior to forming Affinity
Ventures in 1995, Bruce was the Vice-President
of Mergers and Acquisitions of a publicly traded
healthcare company. He was involved in growing
the company from $180 million in revenue to over
$550 million in a 5 year period.
From 1986 to 1991, Bruce was the area
Vice-President of the western region of Abbey
Home Healthcare. He was responsible for the
largest region in the company with over $70
million in revenue and 45 operating units. His
region grew over 90% in revenue and was
responsible for negotiating over 75 contracts
valued at $150 million. During this time he was
involved with a private placement which lead to
an IPO in 1991. Bruce was a senior manager and a
shareholder of the company.
From 1984 to 1986, he was the Executive
Vice-President and a shareholder of a national
rental equipment company. During that time he
was responsible for all operations and field
activities of the organization.
Bruce began his career as a line manager for a national
health care company and received numerous awards as the top performing
operating unit in the company. Ultimately he became the Vice-President of
Mergers and Acquisitions.
Bruce has been the founder and majority shareholder of 8
privately held companies. All were in the service industry in Illinois,
Georgia, California, and New Mexico. He received his BS degree in Business
Administration from Northern State University and attended the University of
Chicago Executive MBA program.
